With 2020 being the year we all stayed safe at home, I began hosting Online Paint Parties. It was pretty cool to get to sit at home, in your comfy clothes, eating snacks, favorite beverage on hand, and painting and chatting with your friends through Zoom. However, when things began to open back up this year (2021), and I gave the option for an In-Person Paint Party….. it was NOT met with silence. I had 2 parties booked in no time. Then I started to get messages and texts about what all was involved in hosting an In-Person Paint Party.
It has been SO much fun for me to get to meet friends of friends. To see Friends that I have not been able to give a hug to or talk with in over a year. I have SO enjoyed being able to watch as someone who, at the beginning of the party was saying, “I don’t think this will turn out right.” Hold up their door-hanger at the end of the party and say, “WOW! LOOK WHAT I DID!”
Quilting, Door-hangers, and now Paint Parties have opened up new adventures for me over the past several years. I am SO thankful for each one of you that has supported me as I started out as a hobby interest, and now growing into a business adventure. You have boosted me when I thought there was no way. You have made me laugh when I was sweating the small stuff, and you have cheered me on when I was wondering if I should have ever started down this path. Without my Friends and Family I would not have made it this far on this Amazing Adventure. As long as all of you are in my corner and on my team, I am ready to see where this adventure takes. me and my Family!
